I went out and saw this car yesterday. First, here is a link for the car on e-bay with lots of pictures:

Pics of ERA on E-bay

Here is my take on it:

Positives:
Dealer has prepped this car - looks great!
Paint in better condition than described. Repaint not necessary unless for show only.
Very clean interior - no rips (correct interrior to the time)
428FE engine
Correct styling
Very nice pin drive wheels with 295/50 15 in the back.
Lost of nice surprises (accurate mirrors, 5 point harness, etc.)
Registered in CA as a 1965 Ford.
No spider cracks - since it's an older car and not repainted recently, this shows a good structural integrity.

Negatives:
Oil leaks from the engine (not sure how serious)
NIGHTMARE Electrical wiring. More than likely, the entire car needs to be rewired sometime soon. However, everything does work fine (lights, gauges, etc.) Under the dash, there is a huge mess of wires just electrical taped together. Under the hood, you got wires going everywhere and nowhere.
Although registered as a 65 Ford, CA DMV is nailing many pre-registered Cobras. Dealer claims this one is legit since it's engine is from the 60's and no title company was used.
Older vehicle - arount 10-15 years old.

The owner is Josh. Very nice and friendly person. Car is in a Harley showroom - looks beautiful - get's everyones attention!

Reserve has been met at $30k. Definately a great deal considering it's a quality built ERA and it also looks great. With the money saved, one could redo the electrical (not too complicated in these cars) and take care of the oil leaks.

I'm on my way to the Knotts show. Depending on what I find there, I may be bidding on this car myself. I hope this review helps others who can't visit the car in time.
