How much you have to do depends on how much damage was done to the crank and journal. An analysis of the oil by a reputable shop should tell you what is in it, which will tell you what components were damaged and what was deposited in your oil, and from there throughout your engine.

The following is a suggestion: given your proximity to Southern Automotive down in McDonough, you may want to call them to see if they can give you any advice. Bill or Louis should be able to at least provide some reasonable analysis to define the extent of the problem and steer you in a productive direction. Without seeing the damaged components or performing an oil analysis, it's a bit difficult to try to give advice over the web. Good luck.
