Had my Cobra at the Knott's Show this weekend, nestled between the Superformance display, and the Trigo Wheels display. (Hey Dean, the Red Barchetta!) I posted a sign on the windshield, stating "POLISHED TRIGO WHEELS". It was interesting to see people check out the Cobra, notice the sign on the windshield, and I could see the people step back, nod their heads in acknowledging the freshly-polished wheels, and smiling as they walked away.
There must have been over 100 Cobras at the show, and another 50 or so Porsche Speedster kits there, along with the other various kit-makers, from the VW Bug/'30s roadster combo, to the '40 Ford body repanel on the Chevy S-10 frame and interior.
Also there were a couple of home-made vehicles that looked like land-bound jet planes. One of them had a mid-engined Caddy Northstar V8 powering the rear wheels. Bad thing was, it was a one-seater!!
