you got it right, the compressed spring is on the clutch arm end of the cable and as the clutch is activated, the spring compresses. the "clutch arm" moves towards the front of the car, not aft, when the clutch pedal is depressed. i am looking at fabbing a bracket to attach to the BH to reposition the cable fwd so as to get some adjustment capability, but any help appreciated.
