Is there any "trick" to taking a 4 speed shifter (with reverse lockout) apart? I need to have the shifter face forward not rearward which means the "lockout" has to be moved to the opposite side. It appears that to dissassemble it you need to push the "T" out but, so far, it doesn't budge. Is there more to it than that.
