The powder blue looked great and the way it is made effects the mounting. It has a metal plate that is 1 7/8" wide (the width of the solinoid) that is riveted to the plastic blue housing. It is bent upwards in the back and is wider at the top 2 5/8" for mounting by two 1/4" holes 2 1/16" center to center, and ground. It is arranged master switch with a metal angle strap from the swtched post to the solinoid's post. not a lot of give without more drilling -romancing.They may look simular But idealy I do not want to have to start changing stuff now.
I've seen simular solinoids (fork lift)with two small post where one of the two small posts was a controled ground that was used as a starter protection.
