Hmmm.... Really good point.
But I look at it this way. Earlier in the thread, someone made the point that we're (by we, I mean those who believe in this point) not trying to make the cars impossible to steal. Just make it harder than the next one.
Sure, someone could pull off one of my spark plug wires and use it as a coil wire... except well, my spark plug wires take about 10 minutes to take off at a minimum...unless you cut them and reterminate them. Some thief...
I guess if I really wanted to make it impossible, I would remove the carb...??
I just prefer to be at events with people I can trust, and say "If someone is determined enough, they're going to get my car. But I'd rather enjoy myself than spending an hour setting up my security devices."
Maybe I could park my car near water and employ "Sharks with frickin' laser beams on their heads...."
