That thought has been tossed around here of making a thin about 1mm thick washer, all thats required is the tool making, so it can be pressed into shape!

Down side may be as far as wheels coming loose, this could promote that situation, with an extra part?

I am thinking along the lines of Stainless spinners but they are heavy.
