I also took my Lister replica through the MVD in Mesa at the Greenfield branch and it was a breeze as Jim said. Just needed the $1 temporary trip permit, MSO, receipts for the car and major components like the engine and trans. My car is registered as a 1958 Lister (yours will likely be a 196x Ford Cobra) and is therefore exempt for emissions testing. Hooray!!! No Mesa city tax for me but that may be because I live in the thriving urban metropolis of Higley.
