G'day All,


I've been hearing stuff about Lexus motors - how strong they are, good power/technology etc etc but nothing too technical about how to install one in a cobra.

I'd like to know what the issues are to install one.

Eg, how do you get around the ECU security? do you need to use a lexus steering column? Any clearence problems. How much $$ for a used motor. Engine mods and costs, ADR emission problems? Transmission combos? Wiring problems? Sump clearence? etc etc

There is bugger all info, on this forum, about them.

I know lots about LS1's and this is my preferred route but I would like to be fully informed when the time comes to install the engine (which will be at the end of my build to aviod any ADR problems).

So, are there any Lexus boys who would like to tell all?
