I figured thats all it was, a date code. I think there must be more numbers somewhere on the heads I've missed. The date code on the intake manifold is also 1964. Rumor has it the block is '66, trying to confirm.

,,,,turned off the rev limiter for "testing". It runs to 7000+ rpm and pulls STRONG! 120 mph in a heart beat! Rev limiter set back to 6000, can't risk hurting the "beast".
