Default 1965 Smiths gauges / Lucas switches

I came across this recently. It is from a 1965 Jaguar Mk X the predecesor of the XJ6.

There are 3 period authentic electric Smiths gauges, oil 0-60 30-110c water, fuel and One Lucas amp meter. In the center there is a large chrome headlamp switch which, there are six toggles: washer, wiper, fuel pump, fan (slow-fast) a panel light switch and an interior lamp switch. along the bottom, three on either side of the starter. switch, cigar lighter and starter button.

The gauges are mounted on an english walnut burl veneer with what looks like a marine grade plywood behind it. All the looms are conected to the gauges and the connectors are all present but the harness has been cut.

I bought this to use a couple of the period Lucas switches, the same ones used at AC but I can't bring myself to take it apart. It's too nice to part out. The keys are still in the ignition like it would be waiting for someone to take it for a ride.

I'd like to sell it to someone who would at use the whole thing if not for a Jag at least. It needs to be cleaned up but it is in really good shape otherwise.

$250 credit card accepted through pay pal.
