I'm using a ford motorsports dual friction clutch and pressure plate, clutch p/n m-7550-x302 and plate p/n m7563-c302. The only drilling I had to do was on the transmission holes, and I'm not sure what adapter you are refering to. The 3550 bolted right up the the Mcleod bell housing. Are you using a TKO or a 3550? Everything else matched up perfectly and on the ball stud, I screwed mine down all the way, the nut on the stud had no adjustment. I've got everything bolted up and it all looks good, however I have not run the car as of yet. If there is someone else out there that has run into something I've missed please chime in, this is the first one like this for me as well
