Sorry Bandit, not being a FoMoCo type I was unaware that the 351c or 351w existed that far back....I thought that they were more modern designs. Was the Cobra(s) with a 351 available for sale or just a factory toy? If we look close enough there probably was an "original" with a 406FE, flathead, or Y-block. I've been under the impression that Cobra customers in the 60s didn't always get what they were expecting (390 or 428 vs 427, etc) Please correct my misconceptions.

Also that Chevy in the fast Cobra wasn't totally ordinary looking...it had Ford valve covers grafted onto it.

As I said before: Pay your money, take your pick, and have fun with what you build.
