Default 5/16 X 1 stainless

I took the valve covers off to adjust the valves, covered everthing with old towels and started the motor. I found the oil supply right-a-way. The hole was about 5/16 so I dropped in an old bolt and ran up the rpm to see if it would stay, got a longer bolt until I was satisfied it would not bounce around in there, 5/16 X 1 was just right. I did not drill or tap the hole just placed it in there loosely. I still have to fix a broken valve seal but it smokes a lot less, the rockets get oil and best of all it will get me thru the summer.
