Well, did the dyno thing. I must say, the guys down at Allspeed were a great bunch of guys. The have a very nice, clean shop and DynoJet set up. I was there from about 10:30 this morning until 3:30 in the afternoon. They made 24 pulls and tweaked the motor down to a knat's a$$. Several jet changes and a lot of timing adjustments. Improvement was around 35 foot/pounds of torque and a similar amount in HP. Jets went from 79 secondary to 83 and 74 to 75s on the primary. My intent was to get the carb set up and to ensure the air/fuel ratio was right. Now my tires will last even less. As you would guess, she runs great. The downside, max HP was 385 and a tad over 400 on torque. I guess I have to remove my name from the 500+ HP club, but that's the breaks. She's still a screamer. After spending the better part of the day on the dyno and some serious tuning, the bill was unbelievable (unbelievably low). I know they are wanting to bring in the Cobra crowd so they gave me a deal that was way better awesome, (I won't say what it was). They have a Ford day event scheduled for the end of August and I'm sure the dyno will be screaming. The guys are extremely attentive to detail and really know that dyno. After this experience, I can't imagine how a super tuning could be put on a motor without it being hooked up to a dyno. Fun day it was.
