Default SVO 302 Valve adjustment

I have just put on some GTX40 alum heads. When I got them they had the rocker arms loose and unadjusted. These are the stamped steel bolt down type with a fulcrum and fulcrum guide. The engine is a B51 302 with a B303 cam in it. Thats a Hyd roller type cam.

My question is. How do you adjust these rockers for lifter preload? I tried calling Ford motorsport and was told to turn the locking nut 1/2 turn past the point that you have 0 valve lash at TDC on each cylinder.

The problem is these are bolt down rockers and have no locking nuts. If you don't tighten up the hold down bolt the rocker will lossen up to the point that it stops working the valve up and down with dammage to follow.

So do I need to shim them or something?

I'm a new member so I'll thank you all in advance and say Hello at the same time.
