I took a look at the Intake a little closer .
Here are some answerers to your questions .
Thanks for your help this is pretty cool .
I love Ford History /You know what I mean .

> Does it have large Ford lettering on a pad just behind the
thermostat housing? There were reproductions with a blank pad, Ford, or
Cobra lettering. There may have even been ones with Cougar lettering.

A: Blank behind water housing no number. The Ford Stamp number is on the rear of the intake

>Check the port width versus height and look for 4 small letters stamped
on the bottom of the intake in one of the corners (back corner on thermostat
side, IIRC). If you find the letters I can tell you if it is real or a reproduction .
The Shelby S2MS is a similar intake but has several differences. The C90X
is a high rise dual plane with two oval openings in the plenum (where the
carb sits). The S2MS Shelby high rise is also a high rise dual plane but
has 4 circular openings in the plenum.

A: It is a High rise dual plane with 2 oval ports where the Carburetor sits
The only lettering /No. I found under the intake in a corner look like ------- OECO
Does that mean anything ?
Thanks again .
Tony
