Hi everyone,

The weather was clearing late Friday afternoon and I “rolled the dice” to attend last night’s Rolling Meadows show. My wife and I were only there from 6:00 until 730PM and the show was smaller than I anticipated. (Perhaps the threat of rain kept people away?) But we did see some really awesome cars! One of my favorites was a 1960 FIAT, several 1964 Ford Galaxie convertibles and a drop-dead gorgeous 1956 two door Chevy Bel Aire hardtop. The cars ranged from the late 30’s, included several new Vets and a Viper. We met a lot of people, talked about cars in detail, and received several invitations to attend local car shows. Perhaps we can meet and attend this week’s show. E-mail me and let me know.

Saturday, August 7th Brewster Creek Center Route 59 and Stearns Road Bartlett, IL. This is a cruise through downtown Bartlett, trophies in all classes plus a people’s choice award. $10 entrant fee. FMI…call George (630)-837-4201 or the Chamber of Commerce (630)-830-0324.
