I noticed you are from Atlanta. I've done a search and noticed you and kajun's post. I am in the market for a Cobra, but I am concerned about the tag/emissions thing in the Atlanta area.
It seems most of the cars I've seen FS are titled as 1992 and up. Wouldn't this require an emission inspection? Can you install a older (maybe 65-70 small block) engine and have it titled as an older car and by-pass the sniff test?
I'm mostly interested in a track car but would like to have a tag for occasional cruising and testing.
(tag on my '65=$21/year with no sniff test &
tag on my '94 is $120/year with a $25 sniff test)
Any help is appreciated
