Looking at the table in FORD PERFORMANCE ENGINES by Pat Ganahl, page 19.

The 289/302 is 8.206 from "crank centerline" to top of the block.

The 351 is 9.480 to 9.503 ( 1971-72 ).

I do not know what the different block widths would be.

Hope it's a good block,
