Well .... that wasn't a good idea.

I left the house in Paulding County .. partly cloudy, but still kinda sun-shiney. About the time I got to Kennesaw - it had begun to sprinkle - with dark-gray clouds all the way to the NorthEast horizon.

I figured I gave it a shot, but didn't feel like driving in the rain today so I turned around. Unbeknownst to me - the rain had flanked my left side and moved up my rear. It was a total ambush just a few miles from home. Seriously - an ambush. I was sitting at a red light - it turned green - and as I started into first gear, my face was smacked with a bucket-load of water. Startled me so bad that I jumped and nearly sideswiped the car next to me. It was a complete bellywasher all the way home (about 5 miles).

I'm soaked - from the big toe all the way up. The car is in the garage now - draining. The drive in rain wasn't as bad as I remember from my past misadventures or maybe I'm getting better at it with all the practice. Tony - which Sonic is having a cruise in tomorrow - I still need my fix. Directions please.
