Hi Jdog, yes, driving this in So. Cal. is an absolute blast! I had no intentions of selling when I purchased this car. And I have no intentions of getting out of the Cobra world as this is the funnest car I have ever owned or driven.
I'm not a wealthy person, just your average joe. When I purchased this car, I got a great deal since House of Cobras was closing their doors and their customer didn't want to sell on his own. I had to acquire financing to purchase this Cobra.
I'm thinking that IF I can sell this for $50K+, I could make a profit, and then repurchase another one without financing! And now that I've been through the process and am familiar with it, then I can purchase another one and get it registered in CA. And since it's a very soft market right now, I can purchase another one for cheap.
I know I may be day dreaming here. But what do I got to lose? I'm still enjoying this car every single day! There may be an impulse buyer who just wants a legit Cobra without DMV headaches. Who knows???? :-)
And pgermond - good catch on the plug wires. I have sent you a private e-mail explaining this and I hope as you can see, it's not a problem at all and why I can't explain here :-) If anyone else believes this is a concern and needs an explanation, please contact me directly:
