pjs50...i am near square lake and telegraphy roads, yes, your back door. there must be 20 cobras within 5 miles of my house.

having a car registered as a 65 makes it more saleable in MOST areas that have emission laws, ie, prox 1/2 of the illinois counties and chi and chi metro come to mind as examples. also insurance is generally cheaper as a 65 vs a 2002 or whatever late model. plates can be cheaper too. to me it is no big deal, my car was built in 96 and registered new in 98 thus it is a 98 assembled vehicle in mich with their own affixed and unique vin assigned to it, not the spf vin.

you should join the great lakes cobra club and get involved. talk to owners and view cars of all brands as well as their licensing experience. also, they will have a display at the woodward dream cruise at prox 11-1/2 mi and woodward at the offsite ford used car lot.

seems like we might be stealing/hijacking this thread from what it was originally intended to be . sorry folks. as such, contact me offline if you have any questions so this thread can return to its regular programmed channel, so to speak : billwells@comcast.net
