to add the noise back into system drill the holes from the other side. You can also use my invention to add a cool sound and I will fax a drawing to you if you want. You will need to buy a deck of playing cards and some 200 MPH tape to keep cards in the spokes of the wheels. VERY COOL STUFF
In H.S. I had an old truck..... a 1941 chebbie with a 216 six banger. It had vac. operated windshield wipers. We used to get going about 50 MPH down mainstreet (almost top speed ) and turn off ignition= put vac hose to wipers in a bucket of kerosene until it ran out tailpipe with clutch depressed. Then turn on ignition and pop clutch...... The result was solid white smoke that would fill 2 lanes of traffic each way so bad you could not see any cars behind you. Did this until smoke cleared and could see the red and blue lights flashing behind us. They had NO sense of humor when found out it was intentional and not broken
