Steve, I communicated with the owners contact as late as last week and we discussed the logistics on getting the car to Augusta. We certainly hope it will be able to make the trip to take part in the memorial dedication.

The memorial placement will happen with or without CSX2260 and we are working on a "Cobra Cruise In" for a display of Cobras at the dedication. I am also going to try and work out a photo opportunity for the Cobras on a section of the former circuit.

We will get Peter photos of everything that takes place on September 11th. This is where his dad won in CSX2260 and I believe it was the only victory for CSX2260.

I have seen the stone that will be used for the memorial and it is impressive. You (and Peter) can go the the "Augusta Cobra Club" thread here at the forum for general information and a layout of the former track and the park being developed at the track.
