Line-Locs are popular for street cars now,but not as a parking brake they require power to operate. You won't find a normally Apirated Door slammer without it at the track! Just roll into the bleach depress your brake pedal, hit the line -loc button and wallah! front brakes holding pressure till the release. They don't create pressure like a master cylinder they just hold pressure buy the use of a solenoid.Installs on the 1/4" line after your Master cylinder on front line. I have seen them used for various Extreme hill climbs as well installed on rear master.
