I did not rub the paint very hard, I just wonder if there is somthing in the sunblock that caused the stickyness, and attacked or softened the clearcoat. The paint was evidently compromised BEFORE I tried to remove the stickiness. Initially I used liquid diswashing soap, it was still sticky, then I tried glass cleaner, then mineral spirits.


TurK: In answer to YOUR question, no suntan oil. I had the Bull Frog setting on my head to block the sun. I got a lot of strange looks.
