I'd go with cam #2 installed straight up. I think it will give you more of what you want in a street motor.

Run the cams side by side on Dyno 2000 and look at the torque curve in the 2000 - 3500 RPM range and you'll see what I mean.

Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords recently did dyno runups on these 393 motors with different combinations of cams and heads. You might want to read up on it.

Some other options for your setup might be AR 205 heads, Ede air gap intake, and 3.55 gears.
