Congratulations are definately in order. The feeling you get the first time you start an engine that you have been working on - is like no other.
Satisfication is the only word that comes to mind. If you are lucky enough to have someone with you and the noise scares the crap out of them--- well, so much the better.

Ron, you are in Plainfield - are you going to come to the Snake & Eggs this Saturday? It is in Naperville (@ Rt59 & 88) -- please do not feel you need a car to attend. Heck you might even get a few people to come back and take pictures of that first Go Kart Ride!
