The Clevor, if it's still available, has been around for years. Pricy. Around $3,500 (if I recall) for an aluminum bare block. You got a Windsor based block with 9.2" Cleveland deck height, Cleveland crank main main bering size, and used Cleveland (or Windsor) heads.

But that was yesterday, today you can do better. Much better, and cheaper.

Both Ford, and Dart offer mix & match blocks to suit your needs for much better prices. The aluminum block weighs 120#, and the iron 195# so the weight savings is not that great to justify the price of aluminum.

Headwise, the sky is the limit.

My ideal Cobra motor would be a Dart block at 4.125", a 4" crank, and Blue Thunder aluminum Cleavelend heads. This 427 inch combo, with a roller cam, should be good for around 600hp at the flywheel, and put the FE boys to shame.
