I mounted mine on the driver's side too because I am a shorty (5'7"). However, the extra inch in height has me sitting up too high in the saddle. I took an inch out of the seat cusion to compensate, but I'm thinking about taking the tracks out all together and bolting the seat back to the floor, but up close so I can reach. I have an LA exotics, which is a bit different, and I got my tracks from FinishLine. I had to do a LOT of drilling and tapping to get them to fit.
