you know that you install the crank sleeve in seal in the civer and then bolt the cover down so the pressure is even all the way. then the oilpan around the seal.you want the cover with seal centered on the crank sleeve.I get a deal on blue RTV.Wasn't about to remove the oilpan and replace two oilpan gaskets.Trim off the excess .The sleeve may be available.But a good hydraulic shop that cam selective fill cylinder rods ( it's a plating prosses )should be able to fill and dress that groove.
