You Don't Want to Know...
At the end of the day... Rich was the only really-happy camper. (Scared fecesless, however). The rest of us had fun... it was mostly a day of discovery. Wanna talk rich? (and I don't mean USD). Every one of us (except Mr Mustang) were blowing copious amounts of raw fuel outta the pipes (some more than others... shhhhh).
Speaking of discovery, I'm happy to have logged 19 BHP and 22 ft lbs of torque (just behind Keith), since they discovered that my secondaries have never opened a day in thier lives.. Welp, off to the tuner for a week and goodbye to 10MPG and my 305 BFG Euro T/A's.
FYI; the Super Charged Mustang Cobra kicked everyone's A$$. 425 ++ HP and Ft Lbs, and thats after he blew 30 HP on the passenger seat laptop during his pre-dyno set up.
An awesome day was had by all. WAY TOO MUCH fun. We plan on setting up another one perhaps next year. Next time with a full-blown BBQ and malted beverages in the parking lot (think tail gate party) during the festivites. That is a regular venue with some of the other car clubs.
Rich brings forth an interesting observation.... which I really didn't notice at the event. EVERYONE was steering the "strapped down" units during the runs. Wish I had noticed.. pretty funny actually.
I ain't posting no numbers... I'll leave that to those who wish to share thier own personal horrors.
Best personal regards,
Pssst.... want outta-the-box power? Buy a 4.6 litre Super Charged Cobra Mustang. (Damn)
