I honestly can't tell you what the flow differences are but I can compare it to the E. Victor Single plane. I'd rather have the Sidewinder in that it provides better bottom end power with little or no drop off up to about 7K rpm's. If anyone is "budget" minded go for the E. Performer because you can probably buy about 6-7 of them compared to my package deal. Why? You can buy performers all day long - think of the Sidewinder as a Side-oiler block, rare and expensive.
