Default Lower Lift

Terry,

I'm sure my cam has lower lift than yours. I believe the crate engine has the mechanical valvetrain with high lift. I installed a roller hydraulic cam from Crane that works fine, but the lift is no around 0.600" and its a milder duration than the crate motor. Not sure just how well it runs yet......waiting to fire it up again after replacing spark plugs and curing an ignition miss from a bad connection. Waiting for a transmission part to reinstall the tranny and get it back on the road. Not until September. I see you've installed the Richmond Gear tranny also. Hope you got the new McLeod throwout bearing with the elbow fittings replacing the banjos. My banjos failed and I just got it back from McLeod after retrofitting.

Your car is a beauty. What rear axle ratio are you running? Does it stick well? I've not had any traction problems, but as I said, not sure I've had the engine running right yet.

How do you like the hardtop? I assume its from Vern? Does it fit and seal well?

Cheers!

Chuck
