I have mine screwed to the floor on the passanger side, parralel with the front of the seat. It's out of the way for the passenger getting in & out & it's easy to grab (although if it came to the cruch you might be grabing your nuts & running REEEEEEEEALLy fast rather than reaching for the extinguisher)

It reminds me of the pissy little blue extinguisher on the side of petrol tankers. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!
