First engine was a FMS 392 crate. I think that one went at about 800 miles. The second was the FMS short block 392 (I used parts from the original long block to complete the engine).
Second engine went on the dyno with about 12,000 miles!! Both cases were broken pistons.
I had the second block rebuilt and I believe EVERYTHING is now forged.
I had milled AFR heads on the second engine and the compression was somewhere around 13:1 when it went the second time. I have now changed pistons to drop that to 10.5:1.
Next time I get on the dyno I'll add some racing gas!
