I agree with E. Wood, go with the hydraulic roller and use the current technology that is available. You can install a smaller camshaft and fill the cylinders more because of the rate of opening and closing you have with the roller provile. You will also be able to run more lift and make more torque and HP. What i like is the fact that you do not have to worry about eating a cam lobe during break-in and pull the engine all back apart.
