The only thing I've heard on the side is Keith Craft has machined and built a few successfully and a drag racer friend said something about them being sactioned so they could be used as approved replacement motors in their drag cars. I saw one in the black CSX4000 display car at Laguna Seca last August at the Historics, but did not hear it run. Said to be a KC motor, but who knows... The word is the blocks come pretty raw and require experienced machine work to make them correct. Why? Specifically what is required? What are the pros/cons?

I too would like to hear from an actual ClubCobra (not a dealer or engine builder) member here that has purchased one, installed it in a replica Cobra, and using it now. Thanks.
