Help and Advise Please!

Want I am considering doing is using an imported engine. Now I have found an engine I like, transmission, computer and loom etc all ready to go.

The package is extremely attractive by price, brand and performance. It is new with lots of extras. The engine is a stock factory manufactured crate motor, however for a performance vehicle.

The scenario is this

1 This new donk comes with proof that it is new, and a 2004 model.
2. No engine number yet stamped as new.
3. Then in theory, I obtain the engine part number from the American manufacturer, link this to the particular vehicle it is exclusively used in, and then link this to the pollution / emission label that relates.
4. Now given that the country and state of manufacture has equal or greater emission regulations.
5. Then the RTA see that the engine through this paper trail complies with Australia (NSW) ADR 79 emission regulation.

Question is will this work?????
