I now understand the LS6 is the out of the box engine from the Z06 and has 405 HP and 320 Kw. The LS2 is the 6 litre and as you say 297Kw out of the box.

I note your comment on waiting for the 6 litre. However, such a sugestion raises some problems;

1. Can't wait one minute more than I am forced too.
2. Over 300kw in a car weighing around 1000 kg will probably result in a loss of about 12 points anyway!
