I was in at Technical books at lunch today and spied on the shelf a few copies of the Nick Mason Book "Into The Red".

Nick Mason is the drummer from Pink Floyd (one of my favourite bands) and he has an awesome classic car collection. The book basically doccuments 20 of theses cars while they take them for a blast around Silverstone raceway. There's some cool cars in there from a vintage Bugatti racer, the BRM V16 racer through to Ferarri F1 cars and the McLarren F1.

The extra cool bit about the book is that it comes with an audio CD of the sounds of each of them as they go round the circuit.

I've got the BRM V16 as an MP3 and it's eerie to listen to, sends shivers down your spine.

The book was about $69 which wasn't too bad for a nice quality hard cover. I'll be dropping some hints to my wife this christmas.
