Thanks all for conversion #'s. I agree the Big Brother approach to speedo recording and more is BS. GM was sued here in the states for recording car/engine paramiters, speed , impact G's etc. without consent or disclosure to people who purchase certian cars. They were forced to disable these recordings from cars onboard computers. The technolgy is out there without a doubt and more we have never even considered.
Just a thought on that blow through blower in the photo of the BMW M5. A few years back I built a Rod that had a 6V/71 blower remote mounted. It was driven off the crank hub but blower was mounted in front of engine not on take intake. Plumbing was not too bad as pressure did not care how it got there. Used a carb in a pressurized box like a lot of the turbo guys did for a while. Run a pressure line to top side of mech. fuel pump so its pressure was linear with boost and have fun. This will allow tons of hood clearance. Using an older Chassis like my build concept from Vette should make it exempt from emissions regulations too!
