In the early seventies before SAAC, the original Cobra Club had a couple open track events at Waterford Hills in Pontiac, MI. I was lucky enough to get a ride at speed on the track in an AC289.

COX6122 was a very stunning car, built LHD, black on black with chrome wires. I remember thinking that it was an ideal combination - the lighter, free-revving 289 HP engine in the more advanced coil-over suspension chassis. What a great ride!
