oil fliter tubes was none other than the infamous "Butcher", Andy Dunn.
Andy is one very SHARP guy who really knows what he is doing. That particular problem had some VERY good engine builders scratching their heads to figure out WHY Andy lost TWO engines due to oiling problems. It was a nightmare.
As I recall Andy mentioned the one thing BOTH motors had in common was "low
oil pressure", not only during the prime but after they were running.
If you 25 psi with the drill, thats all your going to get when the motor runs. Would YOU be happy with 25 psi for your new motor? I don't think so, trust your drill, double check your gauge, and make SURE you get enough pressure with the drill before you start!
