Rob

I have a 1500 series KB on mine with a ported stock type lower manifold. Your 2200 set up with the GT40 lower will have a lot more potential than mine.

Based upon many years of toying with my KB set up on a stock 302, then with heads and now with a completely built 331 here's what I would recommend.

Aluminum heads( I have TFS Twisted Wedge). Lower compression (mine is at 8.4:1). Zero deck height on forged pistons that have a quench area that matches the head. Don't just use any old dished pistons.

I am using a TFS Stage I roller cam and it works very well. Nice sounding idle at about 850rpm. Idle vacuum is at 10" Hg. The cam could easily be a little more radical without hurting driveability too much. I can drive the car in 5th at 35mph with no problems. That's roughly 1100rpm. The reasonj I chose this cam is because it only has a little over 0.500" lift and so works well with the stock valve springs in my heads and the stock Ford roller lifters.

I am using a 70mm throttle body but that is a little on the small side for your set up. The 1500 series manifold is only cut for a 70mm opening. I would use at least 75mm or 80mm with your set up. I think the flowzilla has an 80mm opening.

I have 42 lb injectors and they work very well. They should be good for about 600hp before they are maxed out. They are not too large for everyday driving either. Driveability is good. I use a single in tank 255 lph fuel pump. You may need to add a secondary in line 255 lph pump on your set up to maintain fuel pressure at high loads. You can add this later if you need to.

I have an 80mm Pro-M MAF meter. This is a plastic meter that has a 360 degree circumferential metering slot. This is the best meter that I have ever used on my set up by far.

I found that my KB set up needed a lot of tuning on the dyno. The air fuel ratio curve was way off. Also the timing for a KB can be quite different than for other types of supercharged set ups. With a little over 5psi of boost mine put 412ftlbs and 362hp to the tires. It is over 400ftlbs at the tires at only 2300rpm. It is very driveable and the torque is easy to modulate. I have run as quick as 11.71 in the 1/4 on street radials. (not drag radials).
