It's getting near the time to make a cam selection. Are there any user's of the Comp Cam 282S Magnum solid camshaft ?????
Here's what I have :
390FE +.040
Forged pistons, flat, 9.5 - 10.0 comp.???
C8AE-H Heads, 2.03 int., Ported and polished.
Edelbrock RPM Performer
Speed Demon 750
MSD ignition
Stock crank w/ C7AE-B rods
C4 750hp Full manual automatic
Torque converter - unknown at this time
Corvette C4 IRS w/ 3.07 gears, how about 3.54 or 3.75 ????
I want a SOLID cam, a little adjustment now and then is no problem.
I'm I asking too much for 400-425 horses ?????
This will be a street thummmmmper, may be a few trips down the strip.
Am I on track with this built till a 427 comes into my life?????
