I just received my copy of this book today. It is a pretty thick volume with coverage of many, many sports racers. The descriptions are often brief, and the pictures are mostly small, but I doubt there is a more complete encyclopedia of these cars in print.

There is coverage of Shelby American, Scarabs, GT40s, Echidnas, the Ol' Yeller series, Cheetahs, Chaparrals, Cunningham, etc. etc.

Alan, I am a little surprised that there does not seem to be an entry of any sort on Listers. Of course they were built in the UK, but given that they were modified and raced by the likes of Hall and Cunningham, I would think they would merit an entry.

Anyhow, if you want a one-stop source for info on just about any sports racer made in America between '50 and '70, this is probably the book. There are probably better sources for if you want more in-depth info on some of the more popular marques, but I don't think that was the intended purpose of this one anyhow.
