The "Old Cars" price guide for a 68 GT 500 says:
#1 = $54,000
#2 = $37,800
Price guide says to add 30% for KR models
From Barrett Jackson:
1968 SHELBY GT500 KR FASTBACK SOLD 66,960 2004-PMCCA
1968 SHELBY GT500 FASTBACK SOLD 58,320 2003-BJCCA
1968 SHELBY GT500 KR FASTBACK SOLD 58,320 2004-BJCCA
1968 SHELBY GT500 FASTBACK HIGH BID 33,000 2003-PBCCA
Some of those were KR's,
Hard to say what an original 9,500 mile car adds to the price.
Remember the 1970? Chevelle LS6 Convertible with 26 miles that went for $325,000 on ebay
Locally, a '68 Buick Riviera, unrestored #2>>#1? with 31,000 miles sold for $31,000. High book on that is $18,000 for a #1.
I would guess the selling price of the 68 Gt-500 would be well over anything the price guides have listed.
Just my humble opinion.
Happy Holidays
